September 2009

Thank you! Thank you for helping us to make the 2009 Project Homeless Connect and the Central Dakota Veterans Stand Down event a success! Whether you were able to join us as a volunteer, a service provider, community partner, or sponsored the event financially or with an in-kind donation—please know that your contribution did change lives and did have an impact on individuals, families and veterans in our community experiencing homelessness, at risk of homelessness or in basic need.
In reviewing the feedback and statistics from the event, we received a number of great suggestions to make next year even bigger and better!  Additionally, we are incredibly pleased with the outcome of this ‘first collaboration’ of the two events in the Bismarck-Mandan area. Of course, and as with any large scale community event, we had some learning curves and teachable moments … overall though the day was a success and, honestly, lives were changed. The participation of our volunteers, service providers, sponsors and community partners made this event possible. Thank you, sincerely, and we look forward to your continued support for next year’s event!

Sincerely,

Tina GrumboJoe Hall
