Why become a Missouri Valley Coalition for
Homeless People, Inc. member?

Simply, you will be an important member of the MVCHP team whose contributions will be invaluable
in the fight to end homelessness in our community.

Additionally, benefits to membership include:

* A central office with support staff to coordinate communications and answer members' questions, and/or offer alternative avenues to other members.

* Access to the Individual Assistance Fund, which provides monetary support for members' clients or constituents to assist with obtaining personal identification items such as identification cards, birth certificates, driver's licenses.

* Networking opportunities through monthly meetings, and opportunities to serve on influential committees.

* Materials that can be used in your own organizations, and work, to prevent homelessness, such as public relations materials and training tools.

*Statewide networking opportunities with community leaders, private individuals, consumers.

* Opportunity to be a driving force in the implementation of the goals of the Bismarck-Mandan 10-Year Plan to End Long Term Homelessness.

* Increase awareness of housing opportunities across south central North Dakota, including the community of Bismarck and Mandan.

* Knowing that your membership works to ensure that housing and other basic human needs are within everyone's reach in an affordable and dignified manner.
